About Us

Develop My Child Ltd was founded in 2020 to provide personalised, comprehensive services from diagnosis to ongoing support for children and young people aged 0-25 with complex needs such as Autism, PDA, ADHD, DLD, Selective Mutism, attachment, trauma, and associated challenges.

We understand that success is dependent on properly supporting the individual, as well as the team around them, and looking to adapt the environment where possible. We work inside homes, schools, and a variety of educational settings.

Gráinne Yeatman

Founder and Clinical Specialist Speech & Language Therapist

I have been a Speech and Language Therapist for over twenty years, with much of that time spent working in a Local Authority. I founded Develop My Child as I saw a need for continuity of support with a centralised team of specialists through diagnosis and beyond.

My specialisation is supporting children and young people up to the age of 25 years with complex needs. I have a particular interest in neurodiversity in girls.

Key to my role is providing training for other professionals to up-skill others to support the young people in their family or in their educational setting.

I am ADOS and ADI-r trained and provide multidisciplinary autism and ADHD assessments. I am a qualified Expert Witness and I am the co-chair of the Medico-Legal clinical excellence network for Speech & Language Therapists.

Jane Love

Advanced Autism Practitioner

After 30 years of supporting SEN children in schools, I am now lucky enough to work as a 1:1 Autism Advisor and SALT assistant in a variety of settings. In this role, I support children, young people, and their families across the region, including post-diagnosis following assessments.

Kerry Krempel

Advanced Autism Practitioner – Exec PA to CEO

I love organising and caring for others and have been fortunate enough to combine both these passions at Develop My Child. Largely supporting and assisting the Develop My Child team, other professional bodies and families of clients, I ensure that from every step there is guidance, communication and a friendly face, with the aim to provide  successful outcomes for each clients journey.

Dr. Neal Ridley

Educational Psychologist

I have a deep base of experience as an Educational Psychologist working through the NHS and local authorities. I have medico-legal training for effective report writing.

Scot Greathead

Lecturer and Consultant Speech & Language Therapist

With over 25 years’ experience in working as a clinician, expert witness, leader, researcher, author and trainer in Speech and Language I can provide assessments, evaluations and reports which are evidence based, democratically driven and family focused. With a direct connection to a neurodiverse teenager, I can fully appreciate how critical it is that learners, their schools, and the families receive the right support, at the right time, by the right people and working for Develop My Child Limited allows me to achieve this in timescales that suit my needs.

Tina Meagher

Speech & Language Therapist

As a highly experienced SLT, I work for Develop My Child two days per week combining regular SLT Therapy for clients in home, school and college settings and can conduct SLT assessments and reports for clients.

Paula O’Hagan

Advanced Autism Practitioner

After 20 years of supporting young people in education, I am now an Advanced Autism Practitioner with Develop My Child. I support young people with communication, friendship, self esteem, wellbeing, and confidence skills. I’m a mum to two grown up children and have a two-year-old granddaughter. I love travelling the world and going for long walks exploring new places.

Nicola Cragg

Finance Manager & Client Services

I support the smooth running of Develop My Child’s business, finances, and company reports. This enables our clinical team to focus on client success.

Dana Turner

Occupational Therapist

I have been a qualified and registered occupational therapist since 2009, graduating from Brunel University with a BSc Honours degree. I worked for the NHS in a rotational post before transitioning to paediatrics in 2011. I have experience working with children with special educational needs, including autism spectrum disorder, sensory motor and sensory processing difficulties, trauma, pathological demand avoidance, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, developmental coordination disorder, and dyspraxia. I have assessed many children and young adults to support parents with applications for Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Additionally, I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Sensory Integration and have Advanced Practitioner status. I also hold a Mental Health and Trauma qualification through Trauma Informed Schools UK.
