Develop My Child’s Occupational Therapy team is specialised in working with children and young people aged 0-25 to help develop the skills needed to thrive in daily life. Our focus is to help each individual maximise their potential by meeting them where they are to develop suitable goals.
Occupational Therapy can be beneficial in helping to develop skills in areas such as motor skills, sensory processing, social skills, and functional abilities. Our compassionate, experiences team works to promote confidence, independence, and a sense of achievement for children and young people across their home and school lives.
Our therapists work closely with the individuals and their families, schools, and with the team around the child to create a personalised journey to best support their development.
This may include:
- Assessment
- Evaluation
- One-to-one or group therapies focused on a personalised areas such as self-care, fine and gross motor skills, life skills, sensory integration and more
- Equipment assessment and resource recommendations
- Environmental review and recommendations
- Programme design, implementation, and ongoing review
- Support/training for families and other professionals
- Attendance at key meetings

We also support the EHCP process with assessments and reports, Expert Witness (Medico-Legal) reports for EHCPs, and attendance at annual review meetings for EHCP.
